Daydreamer Rug

Textile, Fabric, Textures, Patterns and Cloth Design Daydreamer Rug by Begum Karadag This design differs from other rugs due to its production techniques. The design is produced by combining four special hand weaving techniques. These are: Anatolian Knot Technique, Cicim Weaving Technique, Twill Weaving Technique and Shuttle Traditional Towel Weaving Technique. The combination of Cicim and Twill is already the geographically indicated as Karacakilavuz Weaving Technique. However the addition of Anatolian Knot Technique and Shuttle Traditional Towel Weaving technique made this rug unique. Three craftswomen worked in the production of the Daydreams conceptualized rug.
