Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Guy Ritchie Film Collection by Ali Metehan Erdem The focus of this design series is not on actors or actresses, nor on distinctive scenes that Guy Ritchie is known for. Rather, the designs explore the sources of his inspiration, as well as emphasized discourses and style. The stimulating challenge of this work was to show Ritchie’s deep ironies through design. For instance, it was challenging not to focus on actress Madonna for the poster for the Swept Away, but to present a criticism of gender perceptions. Similarly, the other illustrations aim to convey a message through a careful usage of colors and styles.
