Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Fling Logo and VI by Steve Roberts Fling is a young startup with big ideas for disrupting the social media industry by providing users with a gateway into other people’s lives. The new logo was to represent the uniqueness of personality. This was key to reflecting the users of the app, each having their own reason and perspective when sending a message (Fling). The custom script typeface gives the word mark a personality of its own, also injecting youthfulness and attitude. The connection of letters conveying social connection and the journey of a message. The Paper plane, a symbol that epitomises fun, and without bounds.
